Mr. Máté Heisz leads oversees the association’s work on emerging and overseas markets, international trade and supply chains, quality, innovation and funded projects. He is currently Chair of the Board of the Global Solar Council and member of the Steering Committee of the IRENA Coalition for Action. Before joining SolarPower Europe, Máté worked at the German international cooperation GIZ. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Free University of Berlin and a Master’s degree in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest. He speaks English, German, French and Hungarian.

Mr. Amit Jain holds a Ph.D. in solar energy and has distinguished himself as a Fulbright Scholar at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in the USA and a Chevening Fellow at King's College, London. He is Global Storage Lead at the World Bank, overseeing a $2 billion renewable portfolio across South Asia. Amit spearheads the World Bank's Energy Storage Partnership (ESP) efforts driving impactful initiatives in this critical area. He has gained invaluable experience working at prestigious institutions such as the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the Clinton Foundation. Furthermore, Amit's contributions extend beyond his professional achievements. He has authored two published books on climate change policy and waste-to-energy, alongside numerous international peer-reviewed journal publications.

Dr. Rashi Gupta embarked on a transformative journey with a revolutionary vision to reshape the energy technology landscape, particularly in the realm of energy storage applications. A pioneering force in the domain of Advanced Cell chemistry within the Lithium Storage Batteries sector, she has emerged as an indomitable presence. Her voyage toward innovation led her to conceptualize and produce the "World's Smartest Lithium Battery" right here in India, a feat that earned her the endearing moniker 'Batterywali of India'. As the visionary Founder and Managing Director of Vision Mechatronics Private Ltd, she remains steadfast in her commitment to steer the vanguard of Renewable Energy, Robotics, and Energy Storage technology.

Nancy is a senior research advisor and Director of the National Center for Photovoltaics at NREL. She has recently led international efforts promoting the role of PV. Ms. She is the co-author of nearly 160 publications, a Fellow of APS, and was a Fulbright Senior Scholar at Hebrew University.

Dr Abhinav is a PhD in Computer Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. He has 30+ years of experience in senior leadership positions of large multinational organizations in areas including mobility, telecom, healthcare, entertainment and finance.
He has had the honor of serving as an Advisor to the Vice Chairman Niti Aayog. He has been contributing to several clean tech initiatives and to Attero’s mission to making a notable change in the clean tech space through its work in E-Waste recycling.

Nishant is the Vice Chairman & MD of JBM Group and Chairman of Linde Wiemann GmbH, Germany. He graduated in Business Administration from Bradford University, UK and has studied further at the London School of Economics. With his innovative ideas and dynamic leadership traits, he has transformed JBM Group into a well-diversified conglomerate with a global footprint.

Mr. Sturle Pedersen is an eexperienced Chief Executive Officer with over 30 years of global experience in leading successful business initiatives and ventures.
Skilled in conceptualizing ideas and seizing opportunities, he has a track record of identifying and pursuing growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and securing funding from global industry leaders.

Prof Umesh Waghmare is a B Tech in Engineering Physics from the IIT, Bombay and a PhD in Applied Physics from Yale University.
He worked as a post-doctoral research associate in physics department at Harvard University before joining Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in 2000, where he is presently a Professor in the Theoretical Sciences Unit and a JC Bose National Fellow. He is presently distinguished adjunct professor at Temple University, and the President of the Indian Academy of Sciences.

Subrahmanyam Pulipaka is the Chief Executive Officer of National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI). NSEFI is India's largest umbrella body for the Solar energy ecosystem which works in a complementary manner to realize India's ambitious Solar goals and represent the Indian Solar industry.
He is also the Chair of Renewables in Agriculture Working Group at IRENA Coalition for Action. Recipient of BRICS young scientist Award 2018, Subrahmanyam also specializes in Solar module reliability.

Dr. Priyantha D.C. Wijayatunga is currently the Senior Director, Energy at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Priyantha has over 35 years of professional experience including 15 years in ADB.
He served as the Director, South Asia Energy Division and Chief of Energy Sector Group prior to assuming the current position in June 2023. Before joining ADB, he served as the founder Director General of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka and a Senior Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. He has extensively contributed in the areas of energy policy and regulation, energy planning and clean energy development.

Dr. Kuo has been in the field of photovoltaic technology since his enlightenment at ITRI in 2001. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in a wide range of photovoltaic technology fields such as solar cells, modules and systems.
Since 2006, he has been committed to the optoelectronic industry and accumulated 10 years of experience in thin-film solar panel R&D, production, and management.

Sujoy is the Vice President for First Solar and country managing director for the company’s India operations from manufacturing to business development. Sujoy has over 30 years of industry experience in India, and joined First Solar from GE, where he was the Regional General Manager for GE Energy’s Power and Water business. Prior to joining GE, Sujoy worked for 13 years in Tata Honeywell in Industrial automation and control systems

Ms Vasanthi Sreeram has done MSc. in Physics from IIT, Powai and M.Tech in Energy Studies from IIT, Delhi. She has worked for nearly 30 years in the solar energy field. She has been part of Websol Energy System Ltd. since 1994 and played a key role in the growth of the company from 1MW capacity to 250MW.
She has handled all the technical areas pertaining to cell and module production and have also led the R&D team in the company and has received the "Techno Mentor" Award in 2010 from the Indian Semiconductor Association and "Leading Woman CTO of the year" Award from IIGlobal.

Mr. Sukumar Madugula, the General Manager at RCT Solutions India, is a driven leader with a deep passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
With his extensive experience and expertise in the fields of photovoltaic manufacturing, mechatronics, project management, and solar sector, he plays a crucial role in leading the company's operations in India and driving growth in global sales operations with more than 94 GW integrated solar PV manufacturing.

Mr. Bill Tumas is the Associate Laboratory Director for Materials, Chemical, and Computational Science at NREL overseeing NREL’s solar, hydrogen and fuel cells, basic energy sciences, advanced computing, and ARPA-E programs.
Tumas has been actively engaged in collaborative research and technical leadership positions for over 30 years in industry and at national laboratories.

Hiren has worked as the Head of Energy Storage Solutions at Delta Power Solutions. He was driving exponential growth through Path Breaking Technologies. He has also worked in Panasonic on promotion of Lithium-Ion Batteries which were successfully deployed for Reliance JIO 4G network. He was awarded with the Rising Star by Panasonic Corp.

Mr. Debi Prasad Dash is currently working as the Executive Director, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) at Customized Energy Solutions. He has over a decade of industry experience and part of other industry associations like IEEE, IEEE-Smart Grid Working Community, PES, SESI, IGEF. He has been involved in techno-commercial feasibility, strategy formulation and consulting in emerging technology areas like energy storage, advanced battery, renewable integration, green hydrogen, smart grid, electric vehicle infrastructure and microgrids.
